Join us from Thursday May 22nd to Bank Holiday Monday May 26th at the iconic Stoke Prior Sports & Country Club for an unforgettable family-friendly horror-themed extravaganza, featuring an incredible lineup of 40 bands. For the past decade, Breaking Bands Festival has become a beacon for new musical talent, and this year promises to be the most thrilling yet. With a spooky atmosphere and a blend of exciting activities, this festival is perfect for fans of all ages. Festival-goers can look forward to: Party Night: Thursday night party including Mucka Jay's big quiz and followed by a party covers rock band. Headline Acts: Featuring top artists who have graced our stage before, alongside 40 of the most electrifying new bands. Horror-themed Decorations: Embrace the eerie ambiance with creepy installations and spine-tingling decor. Family-friendly Activities: From face painting to fancy dress there's something for everyone, young and old. Interactive Workshops for the kids: We have The Music Box in attendance for the younger fans of the festival to take part in DJ'ing and playing instruments. Food & Drink: Enjoy a wide variety of delicious food options and spooky-themed treats from local vendors. LINE UP NOW COMPLETE! We are excited to announce the final piece of the jigsaw for our 10th Anniversary. Thursday evening has always been our party night and last year we tried out a covers band after the big quiz and it went down a storm. So much so that we are doing it again this year. We know how everyone loves a sing-a-long and a dance to get the festival weekend kicked off so its a pleasure to introduce to you Bromsgrove locals The Stadium Rock Experience. They will be bringing their party game and making sure we start with a bang this year. Daniel Trigger, frontman of the band chatted to Festival Director Jay McGuire recently and said he was very excited to bring their theatre performance to one of the best small festivals in the country. Jay and Daniel have known each from many years ago when Jay was DJ'ing at TBFM Radio playing The Trigger Band music. It now comes full circle as the band bring their spectacular production to Breaking Bands Festival. The festival is now just a few tickets away from being sold out. ATTENTION BBFEST FAMILY... We have a band announcement!!! Unfortunately Molly Karloff have informed us they can no longer play the festival this year. We are gutted but they have been offered a tour and it included the festival dates. No doubt we will see them at BBFest in the future. We have gone through our backup list of bands to find a great alternative. One band that stood out to us and only just missed the cut is one we are now delighted to add to the Friday evening. We introduce to you The Heavy Souls, the blues rock band for fans on Black Sabbath, Rival Sons and Queens of the Stone Age. You may already be familer with them (they played previously under another name if you can remember). UPDATE ON BREAKING BANDS TICKETS @followers We are 23 weeks away from the 10th Anniversary event and we cannot wait to see you all again. We felt now was a good time to give some updates regarding tickets... DEPOSIT BALANCES DUE: If you paid a deposit for your ticket, your balance is due by the 31st December 2024. Please check your ticket deposit email for details of where to pay the balance. If you have not received this email please contact us and we will send you a link. Please only email tickets@breakingbandsfestival.com rather than message us on socials. BALANCE PAYMENT TICKETS: If you have already paid your balance, you were due to get an email with your QR ticket codes. Unfortunately, not everyone received one due to a bug in the system so we will be sorting this out over Christmas so everyone has their ticket by the end of the year. TICKETS REMAINING: We have around 15 weekend tickets left. There may be a few more after Christmas if anyone decides not to pay the balance on their tickets so we'll keep you all updated. There will be NO TICKETS on the gate at the festival. We will be definitely sold out by that point. We'll update you all with more info in the new year but at this point we'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Today is a very special day for Team BBFest as it marks 1 year since we were awarded grassroots festival of the year. Today the team are off to Bristol to attend the UK Festival Awards again and hopefully bring back yet another award. Win or not, its a great achievement and testament to the team behind the festival, the amazing bands and the fans who continues to support what we do. To be nominated every year and shortlisted in att least 2 categories each of our 9 years is incredible. Winning is not important, the recognition and the short list nomination is a win for all of us. Saying that, please keep your fingers crossed, let's see what happens.

So 10 years ago Breed 77 announced on stage at BBFEST that they were done and it was their last ever gig. We adopted the zombie song as the them of the festival.
