We are extremely pleased to be announcing another 3 bands to join the 12 already announced for Breaking Bands Festival 2016 and this week its the turn of the girls. All 3 bands are fronted by lovely ladies and we are excited to have them all on board…
Crash in Clouds are a five piece Rock Band from the South Wales Valleys supplying a unique mix of styles with original songs and solid live performances. They have been supporting the festival from its first announcement back in 2014 and as we always promised, bands that we see actively helping spread the word and supporting us will have a chance to play at the festival in the future.
Bloodyard are a 4 piece Groove/death metal band, based in North-West England. Formed mid 2010. The band consists of Donna Hurd, Nick Adamson, Dave Cowley and Matty Lee. Together, they produce a crushing sound, rife with gripping riffs and brutal breakdowns. Blending fast paced, heavy guitar lines, with powerful and intricate drumwork, and the vocals of a vehement banshee, they produce a truly definative sound, that is certain to melt your face. At the weekend Bloodyard won a place on Bloodstock with their performance at Metal 2 The Masses Burnley so you will get a chance to see them perform if you are at BOA this year.
The band METAPRISM define ‘Beauty and the Beast’ with their unique brand of melodic and progressive metal. With a combination of female and male vocals their huge sound blends face melting aggression whilst still assaulting audiences with soaring melodies.
Although a fairly new band, METAPRISM have already played alongside ‘Sacred Mother Tongue’, ‘I AM I’, Mikee Goodman’s project ‘Outpatients’ and ‘Evil Scarecrow’. As well as a successful appearance on the Newblood stage at the UK’s best metal festival, ‘BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR 2014′, which featured the likes of Megadeth, Emperor, Down, Lacuna Coil, Children of Bodom… amongst many other quality major and unsigned acts across 3 stages. 2015 sees them not only making an appearance at Europe’s biggest festival, Wacken Open Air, but also with a return to Bloodstock Open Air for the second year running! This time on the Sophie Lancaster Stage on opening night. With a full debut album also on the horizon, 2015 has a lot in store for these melodic metallers!
