For the 4th year running, the fine folk at UK Festival Awards have seen fit to nominate Breaking Bands Festival in their end of year prestigious awards.
This year we are delighted to announce we have been nominated 4th time in a row for Best Small Festival and once again we have also been nominated for the Grass Roots Award.
The small festival award is for festivals under 10,000 capacity but the Grass Roots award is a bit more special and along with the principles of Breaking Bands Festival. As described on the festival website “This award acknowledges the independent festivals whose organisers sacrifice their time, energy and finances in order to host an event that’s true to their ideals and free of commercial interests.”
The awards are now open for voting and you have until 30th October 2018 to put a vote in for us. We’d really appreciate the continued support shown to the festival over the last 4 years as we aim to win one or maybe both of these excellent accolades on behalf of the crew, the directors, the bands and the fans of BBFest.
