With Breaking Bands Festival now far behind us we are very excited and well into the build of the 2016 follow up. We now have 19 bands announced and 3 acoustic acts as well as many sponsors in place.
Breaking Bands Festival is forging a new place in the extremely busy festival calendar in the UK after a successful sold out 2015. With next years headliners announced as Reign Of Fury, Denmark’s Evil Masquerade and Ex Iron Maiden front man Blaze Bayley taking the top slots over another fully loaded bank holiday weekend it has the potential to be even bigger.
Where Breaking Bands Festival shine amongst many other UK festivals is the experience the team have and their passion for finding true musical talent and not about making a profit. Not only that but the team listen to the ticket holders to bring in the bands they want.
A whole host of bands ranging from metal band Godslave from Germany to the funky sounds of Wretched Toad from London, there guarantee’s to be something for everyone. Plans are already in place to add longer sessions on the extremely popular Buskers Stage which we can announce will once again be sponsored by GET YOUR ROCK OUT and once again THE SESSION STUDIOS WORCESTER will be sponsoring the main stage.
The line-up below is not yet complete but its easy to see that thebbfest team have once again scoured all parts of the country (and beyond) to find the best bands they can. With ticket sales already over 20% even with an increase in capacity it is definitely looking to be sold out for the second year running. Festival parter Jason McGuire said “we are delighted to see that the public, the bands and the press are fully backing us for a second year. This is the way we can make a success of Breaking Bands Festival and help it grow into one of the best independent festivals in the UK“.
Quotes and reviews from those who attended the 2015 festival:
Adam Hemmings – Amazing atmosphere, great bands, great crowd! Looking forward to next year!
Ze Hall – Absolutely super!! had a fantastic time and can’t wait for next year’s!
Skylla Ceto – An absolutely brilliant festival, the best I have ever been too. Excellent venue, very well organised, an entire weekend of excellent bands, great atmosphere and every one there made it a totally enjoyable experience. Even better was that you didn’t need to spend a fortune to be there, other festivals really do need to take note as this is how a festival should be run. A massive thanks to everyone involved in making it such a success, I hope there are many more of these. Breaking Bands – I’ve discovered my new favourite festival.
Ben Barker – Awesomeness!!! had such an awesome time! felt very welcomed and met some of the nicest people and some real fucking talent all the bands and acts rocked! felt well looked after staff wer the best at making every thing run smoothly and making the whole experience one to remember! if you wanna see some brutal bands that craft hard to make fucking awesome music then this is the place to be where its all about the music!
